Bailey Blythe, MSW

Psychotherapist

Bailey Blythe is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who brings a warm, supportive, and empowering approach to her work with individuals navigating trauma and other challenging life experiences. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington and has more than five years of experience working in a variety of roles, particularly supporting women and children. Bailey is especially passionate about serving individuals who have experienced abuse, trauma, or circumstances that have left them feeling marginalized, silenced, or uncertain of their own voice.

Bailey approaches therapy with respect for each patient’s individual experiences and strengths. She recognizes that trauma can affect relationships, self-worth, boundaries, and a person’s sense of safety long after the experience itself. Her goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients can process difficult experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and develop greater confidence and agency in their lives.

Bailey understands that beginning therapy, particularly when discussing painful or traumatic experiences, can feel intimidating. She works collaboratively with patients at a pace that feels manageable, helping them find their voice, establish healthier patterns and boundaries, and move toward a life that is not defined by what they have experienced.

Bailey is a longtime Mansfield resident. Outside of the office, Bailey enjoys dressing up for an evening at the theater and attending Broadway musicals, particularly stories featuring strong and resilient women. She is also devoted to training her poodle, Darcy, who has certification as a therapy dog. Darcy may join Bailey in sessions when appropriate, providing a calming presence for patients who experience anxiety or simply find comfort in having an animal nearby. Darcy is named after Mr. Darcy from Bailey’s favorite novel, Pride and Prejudice - and, according to Bailey, he has managed to adopt a bit of his namesake’s personality as well.
